Multichannel option does not show up in Pro Tools

Clear Pro Tools Plugin cache to fix the multichannel issue.

Macintosh

  1. Go to directory:

...

  1. HD/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools
  2. Remove file InstalledAAXPlugIns

PC

  1. Go to directory:

...

  1. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools
  2. Remove the file InstalledAAXPlugins

Multichannel option does not show up in Logic

Clear AU cache
Go to direcotry:
HD/Users/<username>/Library/ Caches/AudioUnitCache
Remove the file com.apple.audiounits.cach
